Postpartum health coaching

“Since working with Rachel, I‘ve had more energy, better digestion, stabilized my weight, and I’m loving my new routines! It’s easier to prioritize myself, I’m better at listening to my body and giving it what it needs, and I have more capacity to deal with stress.”

—Frenchie Ferenczi, Marketing & Growth Strategist

the care you needed but didn’t receive

It’s not your fault if you’re exhausted, irritable and resentful, and you feel like you’re failing in multiple domains in your life.

The unfortunate truth is that our society does not support women and young families to thrive.

With little —if any— paid parental leave, high cost of child care, and never-ending stress coming in all directions, it’s no surprise more than half of parents these days feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted.

In fact, a recent study from Ohio State University found that 66% of working parents meet the criteria for burnout.

As a mother myself, I know how important it is to receive the care and support we all need to work, care for our families, while having a little extra for ourselves.

I work with mothers (and sometimes fathers) struggling with their physical and/or mental health, hormones, energy, immune system, and more in the months or even years after having a baby.

If you’re looking for something completely integrated and tailored to your specific needs, postpartum health coaching might be the right step for you.

You will work with Rachel to address specific health concerns while receiving Rachel’s expert guidance on how to improve your health, quality of life, and relationship to motherhood in a way that works for your busy life.

  • “Rachel and the Yin Way Program helped serve as a very strong catalyst to start reconnecting with myself again and taking back my life. When I started, I felt hopeless, confused, disconnected from myself, and a lack of connection to others and the world around me.
Being “mom” 24/7 took all the good things out of me and left nothing for myself.
While the transformation started slowly, over time I quickly realized the value I was getting out of finding myself again through the support, the practical encouragement, and tools Rachel and the program provided me.
For me, the change wasn’t dramatic, but it was definitely cumulative. By the end of the program and one-on-one coaching, I realized how grateful I was for all of it and the path it started me on.”

  • “I first reached out to Rachel during a season of complete burnout. My brain felt cloudy, my sleep was poor, and I just didn’t feel like myself. Since working with Rachel, I noticed I am quicker to show compassion to myself during times of stress (which is huge for me), I can better identify my needs, and I’ve implemented small but impactful changes that help me ride through stressful times. Recently in the midst of a really stressful time at work, I reached out to Rachel instead of turning inward and continuing to struggle. She gave me 5 essential things to focus on. It may sound so simple, but her list of essentials helped me “find my life raft” through a particularly turbulent time. I am still working with Rachel and expanding my understanding and practice of how I care for myself, which is the best gift I can think to give myself.”

  • "As a result of participating in Rachel's group program, I learned to prioritize sleep and quiet, relaxation and self care…I built the tool box of ways to find calm and peace. And more importantly to value that in a new way.”
