Hi, I’m Rachel Redmond.

For the past 12 years I’ve helped women resolve digestive issues, balance their hormones, and exponentially improve their quality of life.

I’ve personally healed myself from 20 years of digestive issues and food sensitivities, which were largely exacerbated by emotional stress and underlying anxiety.

I’ve witnessed so many women search for the elusive elixir of health without realizing that we have access to it every day of our lives.

When it comes to women’s health, prevention of disease, and longevity, I draw from the ancient principles of Eastern Medicine and functional medicine lab testing to identify and address the root cause of my client’s health issues and restore the body and mind back to optimal health.

Later on, when my world fell apart after the loss of my first pregnancy, these practices helped me to process my loss and gently pick up the pieces. In Chinese Medicine school, it’s essential that we learn and understand the principles of Yin and Yang theory. From this I know that when something reaches it’s maximum, it must transform to it’s opposite. Day to night. Winter to Summer. Sorrow to Joy.

I allowed myself to soften into my grief, to stay present with it no matter how excruciating. I’d often remind myself to slow down and yield to the Yin Way of being. It was during this time that I was unknowingly creating the framework for what would become The Yin Way Program and more recently, The Invisible Mothers Support Group.

I know that without these practices and principles I’d learned in my Eastern Medicine Training, I would be chronically in pain, suffering mentally and spiritually, and a much less vibrant version of myself. I was able to spare myself this unnecessary suffering and now I find great meaning in my life by supporting other women to do the same.

If you’ve experienced pregnancy loss, you know the devastation, the loneliness, and difficult -often conflicting- feelings this loss unearths. While I can’t take away your pain or your loss, what I can do is provide a safe space and a loving community to buffer the challenging ripple effects that are part of this loss experience.

My personal and professional values are the same.

While I no longer strive for perfection, I do strive to live in a way that moves me in the direction of my values every day, with every choice I make.

Health

I make daily choices that reflect my value of health of body, mind and spirit. I believe that when we deeply care for ourselves, we can better care for our families, communities and planet.

Growth

I believe that we can always learn, change and grow if we are open to doing so. I’m committed to face my limitations with an open mind and aim to do better than the day before.

Balance

I believe balance is dynamic and ever changing, not a set point or destination. This belief is based on the theory of yin and yang, which embraces the concept of balance and duality. I believe when we make space for our paradoxical natures to emerge, the parts of ourselves that know great suffering and the parts of ourselves that know boundless love, joy and hope, we can connect to a fuller version of ourselves. A version that is strong, vulnerable and dynamically balanced.
